Sankham progressing in Sydney

Cameraman-turned-director Shiva's Gopichand-Trisha starrer Shankam is progressing at brisk pace at the beautiful locations of Sydney, said producer Bhagavan, who is making the film jointly with Pulla Rao under the banner of Balaji Cine Media. We are currently shooting some scenes and songs in Sydney and the movie is a mass entertainer with romance, action, family drama, sentiment and comedy. Tamil actor Sathyaraj is playing the role of Gopichand's father, he said. Taman is the music director. Vetri handles the camera. Also in the cast are Chandramohan, Dharmavarapu, Ali, Venu Madhav, M.S. Narayana, L.B. Sriram, Raghunatha Reddy, Sitha, Rajitha, Sakunthal and Radha Kumari. Director Siva has earlier directed Gopichand in Sowryam. This is the first time Gopichand teams up with Trisha.
